It's been a while but I have a news to share. I got a job! Wehooooo! Life is such a blessing for me. I don't know what I did to deserve it. But thank you Allah. And I am going to work my ass off this time ;)

Til then, bye! xoxo

Someday, if I have a daughter I will name her Tamara (تمارا ).
It means palm (tamar) tree.
I love how it sounds :)

of Long-Distance Love

The true pain in loving someone far away does not really come from the distance. It is the memory of what it is like to be with them that tortures you, that makes the long stretches of silence or misunderstanding unbearable. The distance is a manageable, known quantity. The ache within you that reminds you of how beautiful the simple things are, and how much you took them for granted, will eat you from within.

Pointless update.

I have so many things to write about but I end up writing my thesis :/ Sometimes I feel like 24 hours per day is not enough. Anyway I love the song below. Enjoy!

Currently reading...

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Yes, I only read old books T.T I actually prefer real books rather than ebooks but what to do :/ I miss Chowrasta. The smell of old papers/books, that weird shop owner. The last time I went there was a few years ago. With my bestfriend K. I should really go back to Penang sometimes.

Review: Eau Thermale Avene - Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser

I got two samples of Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser by Eau Thermale Avene. It's kinda odd of them to send two same sample though. But what am I complaining when it's free right? Tehehe.

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser

Product description:
Ultra mild cleansing gel for blemish-prone skin.
Contains Avene Thermal Spring Water to help reduce irritation and soothe skin.
Effectively eliminate impurities and excess sebum.
Contains Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin seed oil) to purify and regulate sebum secretions.
Paraben free.

I've been wearing it for about 2-3 weeks already. I actually love this cleanser a lot! It removes oil and dirt without making my skin taut. In fact, it makes my skin soft and smooth. Plus it smells great! It don't think it makes my skin breakout. Maybe that one pimple on my nose is a sign that my period is coming -.-" Oh btw, I have combination skin and I don't really have any major skin problems except for some freckles *cries*

Price wise, I'm not sure about it. But usually Avene products are not that expensive although they are a bit pricier than Neutrogena or Olay. You can find it in most Watson's stores.

Will I buy this: Yes! I love this thing. Please try!

This.

You need to stop dating people who won’t stop jerking you around, who only like you when you’re sad and damaged because it makes them feel needed, like they’re the miracle antidote to your sadness.
(Hint: They’re usually the reason why you’re depressed in the first place so don’t feed into that trap.)

excerpt from Thought Catalog

That. Hits. Me.
No, I am not that person. But I am the third person. Tsk. I have soft spots for anything broken and damaged. Sigh..

We accept the love we think we deserve

If doing bad things doesn't make you a bad person, then what does?
I don't even understand it any more.

And sometimes, giving someone your everything is still never enough.
Sigh.

March, Y U No Good to Me?

Ahhhh March didn't start well.

E moved to KT this morning. So that will make things difficult especially when dealing with vet & cats. How on earth am I going to bring the cats for their 2nd vacination dose? I should chartered a cab, maybe.

Since I lost my bicycle long time ago, I borrowed my housemate's bike for a few months, shamelessly T.T This morning E helped to buy a new one before he drove to KT. An that cost me RM 270 tsk tsk! So there goes my savings for Pulau Perhentian. Sobs sobs.

I am having an emotional haywire for the past few days. Maybe it's because a lot is happening right now. Or maybe it's just hormonal. And I've been meaning to post some photos of my cats & my new bike. But I am so lazy, hungry & glueing myself to Tubeplus watching CSI.

So til then.

Quick update.

Oh my. Life is so hectic right now! So much are happening. Tsk. Remember when I said I hate changes? I still do, but life has to go on :)

E is going to move to KT by next Sunday. I have to babysit El (his beloved cat) for a while. I also (kinda) adopted a new cat. A cute, naughty and hyperactive bob tail cat. Sangatlah nakal! But very cute though. Will post some pictures later ;)

Anyway, I'm selling clothes online for side income. Please visit my blogshop Wonder Apparel for more details. I am selling vintage, pre-loved & new old stock clothes. Doakan saya murah rezeki! Hehe..

Till then, goodbye!

Kota Bharu Car-boot sale!

So much is going on in my life right now, and I'm expecting some big changes will be happening as well. Tsk. How I hate changes. Within these 4 years, I am building my comfort zone bits by bits. Slowly, I added some friends, someone and new routines and of course I dread the thought of knowing that my life have to change. Sobs. So much of being a control freak, deep down inside I know I can't control everything. I just hope that things will be okay :)

Meanwhile, I am keeping myself busy! I'm starting a small business with a friend: Car-boot  sale! Can you believe that? I still can't :P And boy, it is a lot of work! We had to sort the good clothes out, and washed them. But we are satisfied since what we bought was a hugeeeee bundle of good clothes!

Teaser!

of English language

Just a short update. Yesterday I took an English test in a language centre in order to know which class is suitable for my level. Not that I'm interested in taking classes. Actually I went there to accompany E to survey that language centre office. Anyway, they said my level is intermediate level (the highest level available there). After discussing with E, I just realize something. I don't really understand grammar. I can't tell the difference between past continuous tense, simple past tense, or past participle tense. I usually get the grammar right because I'm very familiar with the language, not because I understand it. While this is not a big problem for me (since I'm in medicine field not journalism etc), E thought that I might get confused easily if I don't really understand grammar. Come to think of it, I'm also too confused with US and UK English! While Malaysia use UK English, my professor prefer US English. Ahaha..

So what's the difference between US and UK English? I find it's easier to write using US English. It's quite forgiving unlike UK English. UK English need to be very precise. I don't know how to explain. But it's very precise in describing things. Lemme give u an example:

US - I have a car.
UK - I've got a car.

(Please read this link for explanation)

Anyway, I notice in some US journals they can even start a sentence using the word "because" or "and". Hmm.. Or maybe academic writing is not that strict? I don't know.

Freedom of speech.

People who talks about politics in Facebook are annoying. There I say it. But it's their Facebook so who am I to tell them what to or not to write. Pft.

Anyway, about democracy. Some people should realize that every system has flaws. Many had bashed Saddam Hussain for his dictatorship (as labelled by the west). But can you say that Iraq is way better after Saddam? No.

Not that I really care, but freedom of speech should comes with great responsibility. Wait, not just that. It should comes with "please use your brain before you talk" sign.

Of avoiding reality.

Hello, here I am starting another blog after sooooo many blogs. But I intend for this one to be the last. I hope so.  I miss writing! I really miss it especially after having a string of readers. Sobs.

But I'm a grown woman girl now. One thing that I've learn from the past (in a hard way) is that sharing about your feelings in social/internet networks is never good. Because not every one gets you.

And I have soooo much to think about, some confrontations to do. But sometimes feelings and revelations will just have to wait.
